Niko
Ibiza
Classic and understated, this is Cala Llonga’s first Japanese restaurant, with beachfront views to boot.
Designed by the prestigious, world-renowned Cuarto Interior studio, Niko harmonises Japanese minimalism with touches of the Mediterranean - and that’s before you’ve got to the food. Tear your eyes away from the crystal blue sea views and you’ll see expert chefs showcasing their skills at a large sushi counter, bewitching diners with the craftsmanship and precision required of each dish. The menu fuses the traditional art of Japanese cooking with innovative techniques and the best produce to be found on the White Isle: think locally caught seabass with green chili ginger and makrut lime.
And the fusion doesn’t stop there. Thursdays and Sundays play host to Kokoro nights, helmed by DJ Shinbone to bring renowned singers and artists together for truly nique combinations of contemporary Balearic sounds with jazz. Japan and the Mediterranean? It’s the duo we didn’t know we needed until Niko came along.
Why we love it
The Food: Innovative Japanese cooking with subtle Mediterranean flair
The Drink: Curated sake list with truly creative cocktails
The Vibe: Serene with sea views
