NENI
Hamburg
NENI's forté is family-style Israeli fare with European charm.
A family business in more ways than one, NENI (named after Haya Molcho’s sons Nuriel, Elior, Nadiv, and Ilan) bridges Levantine street food with Russian, Moroccan, Spanish, German, and Austrian influences — to name just a few.
Accessed via a gangway on the ground floor of the maritime-themed 25hours Hotel Altes Hafenamt, NENI takes you on a voyage of a communal feast. Designed to be eaten Balagan, or family style, its menu is best when flavours and textures mingle: sample the addictive mezze, but leave room for hearty mains and irresistible sweets to finish.
Why we love it
The food: Levantine classics with a twist
The drink: Beers and aperitifs aplenty, alongside zesty homemade iced teas and lemonades
The vibe: Jovial and communal in an industrial-chic space
