Mamm’s Bar is an intimate basement drinking den that takes the traditional plush velvet armchairs and gold-rimmed marble tables, and brightens them up with a boldly printed carpet and a mirrored ceiling - Mama could never be moody.
The cocktail list is as inventive as the decor, with signature twists on a Mai Thai called, you guessed it, the Mama Thai, with triple sec, lime and orgeat

Old Town
Mama Shelter is in the heart and soul of Rennes’ historic Old Town, with its half-timbered houses and roofs shaped like boat hulls straight from the Middle Ages. Take in Saint-Pierre Cathedral and its incredible 16th-century altarpiece, and head for the flower-filled courtyards of Rue du Chapitre and Rue Saint-Sauveur to see the amazing colourful facades. A few minutes along the River Vilaine, you’ll find the banks of the Apigné Lakes, with lush grass ideal for lazing around on folding chairs. Make like the Rennais and set on the small beach for a quick dip when the temperatures soar.
