Library Bar
Dublin
A beloved Dublin spot, brought back to life the Hoxton way.
For in-the-know Dubliners, The Library Bar was the city’s best-kept secret. Invisible from the footpath below its landmark location, you had to know it was there. Now it’s back (and better than ever) at The Hoxton, Dublin.
The iconic original wooden staircase, mantelpiece and bar remain - and so does the atmospheric old-school charm. It’s a warm, welcoming space to unwind, whether you want to hunker down with a good book, grab a quick pint or catch up with a friend over light bites by the fire.
Why we love it
The vibe: Velvet sofas, leather armchairs and fringed library chairs surrounded by bookcases
The food: Toasties and oysters at the ready
The drink: Cocktails with Hibernian twists, a comprehensive wine list, and of course, Irish whiskey and Poitín
