K'Far
New York
From the word 'village' in Hebrew, K'Far is an intimate yet bustling scene right in the heart of Brooklyn.
Cafe, restaurant, bar - K’Far serves excellent Israeli food at all times of the day. Spanning the entire lobby of The Hoxton Hotel, Williamsburg, this little village is from the same team behind Brooklyn hotspot Laser Wolf (an Israeli grill that just so happens to be up on the roof).
On one side, there’s a coffee and pastry counter, bar, and lounge where you’ll see people on their laptops. Across the foyer, there’s a dining room, surrounded by a jungle of plants and attached to an even leafier outdoor courtyard. You could (and should) spend a whole day here. A Yemenite latte and a Jerusalem bagel sandwich from the counter for breakfast; a crispy kataif chicken schnitzel for lunch in the lobby lounge; and then when 5pm hits, a CG&T (that's celery, gin and tonic) in the bar followed by a dinner of Persian lamb shank alongside druze mountain bread, eggplant, rice, shabazi tomatoes & garlic torshi.
Why we love it
The food: Exciting and inventive Israeli food for any part of the day
The drink: Beer, wine and classic cocktails brought to life with, you guessed it, Israeli flavours - like the house Martini with za'atar spiced cocktail onions
The vibe: An all-day culinary village

Where you'll be
Williamsburg
Williamsburg is a melting pot of culture, from record stores and indie boutiques to great food and buzzing bars - where you’re bound to rub shoulders with Brooklyn’s best musicians and artists. Quite frankly, there’s no real reason to even cross the river to Manhattan. If you really must, though, the L train subway is a five-minute walk and the East River Ferry dock eight minutes away.
