Bouvier
Vienna
A French-by-way-of-New-York bistro.
Tucked just off to the right of The Hoxton, Vienna’s lobby, Bouvier is a relaxed modern bistro that bridges old-world French classicism with New York verve and vigour. A bold yet welcoming space, it features a checkerboard terrazzo floor, deep red wall panelling, 1950s-inspired custom seating and an open kitchen that brings energy to the room.
The menu is intentionally focused, serving breakfast and dinner only - from laid-back mornings to long, lingering evenings. Curated in partnership with Jeremiah Stone and Fabián von Hauske Valtierra, the duo behind New York’s iconic Wildair, the food leans European at heart, layered with unmistakable big-city confidence.
Out front, a sprawling terrace with fringed parasols, tiled table-tops and greenery offers a relaxed setting for coffee or a glass of something chilled - an extension of the restaurant, not a pit stop. And if you’re on the move, the Lobby Bar is the place to swing by for takeaway coffee, a fresh pastry or a quick bite.
Why we love it
The Food: An elevated menu of produce-led, New York-meets-European food
The Drinks: Natural wine from producers around the globe, along with sharp and seductive cocktails
The Vibe: The sophistication of a classic French establishment with the relaxed energy you can only find in New York neighbourhood spot
