Bouvier
Vienna
A French-by-way-of-New-York bistro.
Tucked off to the right of the The Hoxton, Vienna’s lobby, Bouvier is a relaxed modern bistro that straddles the old and the new. Fusing French classicism with New York verve and vigour, it’s a bold space with a checkerboard terrazzo floor, deep red wall panelling, 1950s-inspired custom seating, and an open kitchen. Like the city that never sleeps, the menu is all-day, with breakfast meetings, boozy brunches, late lunches, and even later dinners covered. And it's been carefully curated in partnership with Jeremiah Stone and Fabián von Hauske Valtierra - the duo behind New York’s iconic Wildair, no less - so expect European food with a dollop of that big city sass.
A sprawling terrace out the front, complete with fringed parasols, tiled table-tops and greenery, is the perfect spot for spritzes, iced coffees, and leisurely lunches. And if you can’t stop, just swing by the Sandwich Shop to pick up a coffee, filled focaccia, or fresh pastry.
