Avoca
Hong Kong
Avoca means 'the meeting of waters' – a nod to its view over the waterways of Victoria Harbour. But the real meeting happening here? You and your next original drink.
Take the dedicated lift all the way up to the 38th floor of Mondrian Hong Kong and you’ll find yourself at Avoca, a sophisticated cocktail bar overlooking the busy waterways of Victoria Harbour. You won’t be distracted by the breathtaking views for long, though – Avoca’s innovative, hand-crafted concoctions will soon grab your full attention.
That’s because Avoca’s master mixologists have taken Hong Kong's much-loved dishes and turned them into mind-blowing cocktails. The LGM Mary is defined by tequila blanco that’s been macerated with black bean chili oil from Lao Gan Ma and combined with a clear Bloody Mary mix. The Sesame and Peanut Butter Sour is based on a street food favourite to present a unique take on the whiskey sour. And the Clay Pot Negroni, is inspired by, of all things, Hong Kong’s classic Clay Pot Rice dish.
Why we love it
