Actually, you’d be forgiven for not knowing you were walking into a hotel at all. All of The Hoxtons pay homage to the buildings and neighbourhoods they inhabit, so why would Williamsburg be any different? The factory’s old carriage house has been reconstructed as a restaurant. The vast lobby feels more like a living room, with vintage sofas, floral armchairs, and two fireplaces. And the welcome desk is hidden away around a corner. Williamsburg is a melting pot of culture, from record stores and indie boutiques to great food and buzzing bars - where you’re bound to rub shoulders with Brooklyn’s best musicians and artists. Quite frankly, there’s no real reason to even cross the river to Manhattan. If you really must, though, the L train subway is a five-minute walk and the East River Ferry dock eight minutes away.
