Situated on the shorefront within Copenhagen’s harbour, 25hours Hotel Copenhagen Paper Island is part of an ensemble of buildings – previously a paper warehouse – remodelled by local architects, COBE. Keeping close to its roots, the hotel is designed to feel like a Scandinavian holiday home, with wood panelling, playful maritime references, and plenty of greenery. A total of 128 guestrooms, ranging in size from Medium to Gigantic, come in calming natural hues and are filled with a considered collection of objects that each have their own tale to tell.
