The very concept of ‘urban jungle’ gets redefined at 25hours Bikini Berlin. Located in a 1950s high-rise, the playful interiors by Werner Aisslinger pay homage to the city’s eclecticism and diversity.

And then there’s the literal Jungle rooms, with views over the ape and elephant enclosures at the Berlin Zoo next door, as well as warm wooden floors, relaxing hammocks, and hand-drawn wall illustrations by Japanese artist, Yoshi Sislay. On the other side, Urban rooms face the city with awe-inspiring views of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, and reference Berlin’s edgy underground scene with exposed concrete walls and floors.

Pay a visit to the reception-café, cheekily named Bikini Island, on the third floor, where you can unwind with a game of pinball and chill out under the tropical foliage (dotted with stuffed monkeys, of course).
