Located in a former bank that dates back to 1937, 21c Durham has original opulent Art Deco features that have been pristinely kept in the foyer’s green marble and silver leaf ceiling and terrazzo floors.

The 125 rooms come in sleek beige sophistication – a blank canvas to restore yourself after all the visual stimulation in the hotel’s carefully curated art galleries. Enjoy the tongue-in-cheek nods to the building’s past in the public areas, as you sip on cocktails in the basement amongst vaults and lockboxes, with images of money whimsically printed on the floor.
