With a menu curated by chef consultant Selin Kiazim – celebrated for her work at the legendary East London restaurant, Oklava – and a kitchen headed up by chef Halil Simsek, Leydi is all about true Lokanta-style hospitality.
A visit is a good idea any time of day, with a breakfast and all-day menu based around that generous, home-cooked style feasting. Think a sweet Tahinli pastry with a cup of full-flavoured Turkish coffee to start the day, before moving on to plates of mezze served as a ceremonial centrepiece with warm bread, home-baked pide and gozleme, all paired with a natural Middle Eastern wine menu, when it comes to evening.
